TAAHEED are currently engaged with the region’s leading Banking group to assist them in attracting the talent of the future. Our client is one of the most recognisable names in the Financial Services industry and is in an enviable position to be able to recruit high-calibre professionals across the business.
Through recent growth across the Transaction Banking business, our client is seeking a Business Manager to work directly with the Heads of both the Product and Sales divisions to undertake accountability for a broad range of deliverables centred around the Global Strategy, Key Financials, Infrastructure and Internal Controls.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
Strategy: Prepare and implement the global strategy for the Transaction Banking business in conjunction with the business heads and industry sector heads
Clients: Ensure the business contributes appropriately to the client Key Account Plans as prepared by the Client Relationships industry sectors
Financials: Prepare and monitor the annual revenue, cost, headcount, balance sheet and RWA budgets. Undertake ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by the business
People: Develop a strong working relationship with the business heads, direct reports and the enablement functions supporting the business. Develop and implement the balance scorecards
Infrastructure: Develop process to automate the production of weekly pipeline reports and to automate the production of weekly trade finance reports for senior management
Controls: Ensure that all regulatory and audit issues relating to the businesses are satisfactorily addressed in accordance with agreed timelines
Key Experience:
University degree from a recognised institution
Post graduate qualification preferred (ACA, MBA, CFA)
A minimum of 10 years experience within relevant Banking roles
Significant experience of Transaction Banking from an International Bank
High-level understanding and hands-on exposure to Financial and Project Management
Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under time pressure
