Job description / Role
- Have the vision and skills-set to manage the overall operations of the department and run it successfully achieving the annual financial budgets and corporate goals
- Strategize the business management and marketing to achieve desired objectives
- Manage the entire team- Editorial, Creative, Production, Sales & Marketing, and motivate them to exceed their performance levels
- Enhance the size and scope of the current business
- Innovate and create new business opportunities
- Do business planning and sales forecast
- Sell sponsorships for corporate events and spearhead large business deals
- Establish and maintain relationships with high value clients and agencies
- Have a good understanding of the Digital publishing platforms and the latest trends in the industry, specifically in the magazine segment
- Manage the branding activities for all business streams
- Track competition and plan an appropriate strategy
- Maintain good relations with all stakeholders
Requirements
The role requires you to manage and run the Publishing and Events business of UMS Group profitably.
Result-oriented senior level media professional with leadership skills, proven credentials and experience of at least 5-8 years in media industry are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with experience in the GCC region will be given preference.
