The RoleThe RoleGlobal Freight Forwarding & Logistics Services Excellent Salary Package + Benefits Based in Dubai Your primary function as a Business Process Manager is to develop and implement best practice procedures for the group companies’ freight and logistics processes. Responsibilities: • To improve the logistics services, processes and routines in all group companies • To improve the use of the company’s freight and logistics systems • To enhance the business integration between the logistics services function and other functions, internally and externally • To enhance and improve the management control of logistics services operations • To provide training in logistics services processes and procedures in all group companies • To provide the necessary freight & logistics systems training for all users in all group companies • To collect input for future enhancements and improvements to the systems • To actively support the process of integration between the current logistics systems and other business applications, internal and external |
RequirementsRequirements• Relevant industry experience essential in FREIGHT FORWARDING and LOGISTICS • Minimum of 5 years in similar position • Thorough knowledge in Process Improvement Methodologies (SIX SIGMA, LEAN or PIM) • Advanced IT knowledge • Ability to communicate at an International Level • Fluency in English (both oral and written) • Requires extensive travel in and out of GCC |
