Besides Toyota, AF Motors also holds exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.
To provide full back-up support to these world-class franchises, AF Motors have an established network of showrooms and service & parts centres throughout the UAE.We are looking to identify a Business Project Manager who will represent Al Futtaim Motors business interests through planning, management, and coordination of activities for pipeline and approved projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe, with appropriate resources and funding parameters.
Work with both internal and external IT suppliers to ensure business operational needs are understood and supported. Work in conjunction with large scale project teams including IT Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery and project plan alignment.
The main responsibilities include:

* Define initial scope and financial resources. Identify internal and external stakeholders. Support development of project charter and Authorisation for Financial Expenditure (AFE) for approval.
* Define and agree project objectives with key stakeholders/Project Sponsor then communicate with the project team to establish this vision of what will constitute successful accomplishment of the project objective. Develop Project Management Plan (PMP) and facilitate work defined in the PMP to satisfy the project objectives
* Track, review and regulate progress and performance of the project; identify any areas in which changes to the plan are required; and initiate the corresponding changes.
* Finalise all activities to formally complete the project. Verify that the defined processes are completed to close the project. Obtain acceptance by the customer/sponsor. Ensure quality and delivery of project on time and in budget.
* Develop or provide direction for developing communication plan to ensure executive management and stakeholders receive adequate communication throughout the project and are kept informed of critical path progress and variances from plan, while building a collaborative environment for stakeholders.
* Ensure good project governance is applied to all Automotive projects protecting business interests and ROI.
* Guide and assist the business to prepare business needs analysis, return on investments and Approval for Expenditure documentation (in conjunction with STS and Automotive Finance) to support requests for IT changes and new solutions in a manner that meets business needs.
* Provide project management (including initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control, closure and, budgeting services to the Automotive Division to support the successful implementation of project related changes into the group.

The selected candidate will have the following qualification, skills and attributes;

* PMBOK or similar qualification and experience ensuring understanding of project management and project control
* A Bachelor Degree in a related field
* Understanding of training and Organisational Change Management (OCM) principles
* Minimum 3 to 6 years in relevant discipline as BA or PM with full SDLC experience in similarly complex/diverse organization
* Experience with project management methodologies.Â
* Practical Project management experience S2F on large scale projects including SAP implementations and green field facility development.
* Experience in ASAP methodology or full SDLCÂ
* A demonstrated understanding of cost estimating and budget projections
* Extensive experience in developing systems and processes (Process Mapping)
* A demonstrated understanding of automotive companies including Parts, Service, Units and Logistics is preferable.
