Business Sales & Development Manager - Workshop Equipment Division - Al Futtaim Auto Center

Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing.

Al-Futtaim represents some of the world's most popular and desirable automotive brands including; Toyota, Lexus, Hino, Honda, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.

Al Futtaim's Automotive Division have formed a new division under its umbrella, ALAC, this will incorporate the tyres and batteries division, workshop equipment division and body shop division. This new service division will be one of a kind in the UAE offering end to end solutions for commercial and retail customers alike.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Business Sales and Development Manager for Workshop Equipment Division of Al Futtaim Auto Center.

Your operational responsibility is mainly sales of 2 divisions involving sales of workshop equipment , tools and service as well as sales of classic and custom vehicles including Morgan. The principle objective of this role will be to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction indices, achieve and exceed revenue and gross margin budgets.

Further, your key accountabilities are as follows:

* Responsibility of the daily management of two sales divisions
* Full Profit and loss responsibility
* To set-up of proper supply chain for showroom division and workshop tools equipment
* Research new and innovative product lines to ensure market penetration growth
* Drive retail sales and supply chain to branches and other external customers
* Ensure that all relevant KPI are tracked and managed
* Drive employee engagement forward
* Stock control and management
* Debtors and creditors
* Maintain and develop corporate image whilst protecting and developing the company's brands via suitable PR and marketing activities
* Plan, allocate and monitor own sales strategies, targets and sales performance so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded
* Ensure always 100% on time delivery to all external & internal customers
* Create brochures & support material as point of sale material
* Create a web site to advertise all material
* Participate in conferences, client visits, expo's and other exposure areas to ensure maximum sales turnover

Requirements

To be successfully considered for this role, you must have the following experience, skills, knowledge & competencies;

* Experienced sales management with a proven track record.
* Knowledge of the specific industry, proven revenue generation; local market knowledge would be an advantage.
* Must understand the concept of customer service as this is the key deliverable.
* A leader with a strategic, analytical approach to business
* Able to communicate and present in both verbal and written English
* Strong planning and Organization skills
* Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to implement change and new initiatives
* Knowledge of MS Office applications, and computer aided diagnostics. Sap awareness is an added advantage
* Ability to be able to motivate and coach direct reports (service team / technicians / Sales team)
* Achievement Orientated, strategic thinking skills, solution orientated and team working skills.
