The RoleThe RoleFunction and Scope To lead the development of systems and processes designed to support the business operations of CPO, including those end to end processes developed for the purpose of collaboration with external organisations where CPO takes the lead. To manage a team of analysts developing systems and processes within CPO, together with other personnel allocated to such activities from time to time. To contribute towards Governance Team outputs as required . Principal Responsibilities To lead the design and implementation of systems and processes to support CPO business operations, including those intended for use by other organisations where they are participants in collaborative activity led by CPO Where appropriate, to set standards for the development of business processes and systems within CPO, together with the use of appropriate tools Where required, to provide resource and other forms of support to other areas of CPO seeking to develop and implement either systems or processes To contribute more generally to activities undertaken by the Governance Team, as directed by the Head of Governance and Corporate Development To direct and manage resources allocated to him/her, submitting progress reports and other information as required from time to time To undertake other tasks as assigned by the Head of Governance and Corporate Development . |
RequirementsRequirementsRelationships All levels of staff within CPO All levels of staff in external organisations with whom CPO has business relationships Financial Decision Making The performance of the role itself does not require any company authorisation to enter into or approve payments for contracts for supplies or services. Requirements (Competencies) Key Attributes Degree and professional level qualification Experienced present or former line manager Experienced in the construction of business process architectures and business process development, including the use of BPM tools Able to demonstrate significant experience of business process improvement generally, preferably supported by formal qualifications Familiar with the principles of enterprise architecture Able to demonstrate experience of substantial business change projects and an active role in change management Experience in planning, managing and successfully delivering on projects involving numerous stakeholders Exposure to IT systems development and implementation Ability to influence discussions and outcomes involving a wide variety of stakeholders Excellent communications skills in report writing, presentations and verbal communication. Behaviours Appropriate sensitivity to cultural issues Resilient with a “can do” attitude and able to work under pressure Collaborative and able to work across regional and business boundaries Focused on delivering to agreed objectives and standards Able to assert independent views and challenge when appropriate Free-thinking and able to constructively challenge the status quo Additional Information This is a core-tem role, requiring full-time commitment. The post holder must be able to live or work in Qatar subject to the usual immigration regulations. Residence in Qatar is highly preferred. |
