Employment: Full Time

Our client a multinational payment solutions company is looking for a Business Technical Services Specialist.

Position is based in Dubai.

The BTS Specialist will act as the go to person on all aspects of services and support and will be the point of escalation for technical issues whilst identifying revenue opportunities.Responsible for providing technical support to an assigned set of clients and the pertaining Client Relationship Managers to ensure that the client is serviced as per SLAs.

Key Responsibilities
- Service Desk Triage - initial assessment of client issues, evaluation of the resolution route and resolving the incident where they do not require a fix.
- Service Desk SLA monitoring.
- Analyse evaluation of client business requirements and advising accordingly.
- Assessing new client requirements and identifying the most appropriate technical solution.
- Release Management in respect of projects, compliances and fixes.
- Client Configuration maintenance - ownership of client specific documentation.
- Project monitoring and risk assessment.

Requirements

- Approx 6 years relevant experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business.
- Experience in software development in the Payment Systems industry or related industry.
- Knowledge and experience in PL/SQL development and/or project management.
- Analytical with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies and handle tasks of varying complexities.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Familiarity with Payment Systems message formats and file structures will be considered an advantage.
- Customer-oriented Technical Leadership Skills.
- General use of source control and source code change management tools.
- Database design fundamentals.
