Leap29 are recruiting on behalf of a new luxury franchised department store in Qatar that requires a Buyer in Ladies Fashion to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a buying section of an internationally recognized store contributing to the success of a brand new project which is currently in the building phase of development.
The new Buyer will report into the Head of Buying and be responsible for choosing stock in the Ladies Fashion department. You will work closely with vendors and suppliers mostly overseas and generate regular sales and customer feedback reports. It will also be required to deliver a modern and fashionable line ensuring the products are delivered in an utmost manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial buying capacity
- At least educated to college level preferably in Business
- Applied flair in fashion, in particular Ladies ready to wear
- Knowledge of local Arabic fashion trends
- Proven expertise in negotiation and sound financial understanding in buying business
- Must be French/ Arabic/ English speaking due to nature of business
