Job description / Role
Our client is searching for a Buyer / Procurement Officer who can join the ably assist the team in conducting all roles required.
The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of the UAE market in terms of purchasing for Joinery and Interior Fit Out projects and should be able to work alongside colleagues to make sure all orders are price competitive and source new vendors while reviewing performance of the existing company portfolio of vendors.
The candidate must have 3 years Procurement experience.
Requirements
- Timber, MDF, Plywood, Paints, Veneers, Laminates, Glass, Acrylics, Ironmongery, Hardware, Consumables, Metal, Marble, Fabrics and Ceiling, Flooring and Cladding.
- Must also be able to coordinate with other aspects of the company to organise and plan the procurement of all materials.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts in order to guarantee most competitive price.
- Maintain accurate records of all vendors and pricing.
- Work with stock keeper to ensure all stock levels are optimised.
- Salary AED 12,000
