Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assist the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet Hemayas order requirements and maintain stock inventory levels within approved guidelines.
- Coordinate sourcing strategy development and agenda setting with departments.
- Perform purchasing analysis and support.
- Receive and process purchasing requests related to Hemaya.
- Assist in the preparation and collection of information for composing and issuing RFPs to vendors.
- Collect incoming proposals and support the review of technical qualifications.
- Assist in formulating policies and procedures for managing the procurement of goods and services.
- Support and participate in projects/tasks related to areas of responsibility.
- Develop documents according to Hemayas quality standards.
- Conduct market research, product research and product evaluation, as needed, in order to make informed decisions on suitable suppliers.
- Provide guidance to Hemayas divisions/departments and advise them on product specifications and purchasing activities.
- Ensure that the necessary approvals according to Hemayas policies are being provided before any purchase requests or orders are processed.
- Liaise with the Contract Administrator for all contracts management activities.
- Ensure that purchasing data is inputted correctly into the system and data logs are maintained in an organized fashion for easy reference and retrieval.
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information; handle purchase orders, pricing inquiries and quotations in an appropriate manner.
- Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrix.
- This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It does not preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
- Three years of relevant experience

KPAs
- Accuracy of inventory reports
- Accurate/timely research
- Service request cycle time
- Accurate procurement order processing

Skills
- Knowledge of local procurement rules and regulations
- Organization & Planning Skills
- Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Computer literacy: MS windows applications (word processing, excel, spreadsheets)
- Fluent in English, Arabic is preferred
