Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

•Support all procurement functions in EMEA for ERP transactions in the assigned cluster.
•Comply with procurement processes and the ORACLE workflows for all transactions.
•Optimize the transaction time of an order, review supply chain and logistics processes.
•To minimize the average cost to issue an order.
•Review ordering requirements for compliance with established criteria before entering the data into Oracle Project procurement System.
•Convert all requisitions as per agreed Service Levels.
•Un-block invoices in the system with the support of other EMEA functions.
•Prepares expeditor reports in ORACLE showing on time delivery gaps with plans developed by the Project Manager and Project Control personnel.
•Request creation of new suppliers in the system and expedite PO's.
•Set-up and management of framework purchase orders.
•Up to date workflow knowledge on ERP systems.
•Clearly communicate with the different procurement functions and with suppliers on transactional matters.

Requirements

The buyer is the focal point for all transactional procurement activities in a certain cluster and will support other procurement functions with all activities related to the ERP system. This role will report directly to the Transactional Lead.
