Job description / Role
- Provide exceptional services
- Prepare CAD documentation for projects for all stages of project
- Prepare CAD drawings including all necessary information required for design and documentation drawing sets
- Set up drawings using standard layering and object description based on the CAD manual.
- Maintain files according to the filing system
- Assist Designers to develop details and cross check with other relevant documents such as M/E, structural architecture
- Coordinate with the IT team to update the design database which includes 3D presentation images, AutoCAD Library, photographs, products and project
- To ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained and to evaluate where continual improvement can be made
- Ensure product and service knowledge is maintained at a high competent level
- Provide excellence in client service at all times and to show initiative in assisting clients and other staff members where appropriate
- To carry out research with regards to various projects as well as opportunity with in and out of the company.
- Must have high experience in CAD and adobe programs ie. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Must have experience with Google Sketch up
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Degree qualified in BS Architecture or hold a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. You should be English speaking and have UAE experience as well as extensive practical knowledge of Auto CAD, Photoshop, and other software in design presentation. It is essential you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Architectural Engineering and Interior Fit-out Detailing,
In addition, it is preferred if you have knowledge of and the ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, together with sound knowledge in up-to-date interior fit-out finishes, joinery, suppliers and methodology, however it is not essential.
