The RoleThe RoleWe are recruiting CAD Engineers for a successful international company in Abu Dhabi, specialising in large scale safety and security solutions for critical infrastructure. We are looking for candidates with experience in electrical CAD design for security and defence technology. Job responsibilities: • AutoCAD design - civil, electrical and fiber optics for defence, homeland security or border protection sectors • Specifying automated templates • Supporting the design manager in implementing automated AutoCAD tools to increase efficiency • Responsible for release of the drawing after review in the project in specific delivery format • Responsible for version control on electric designs • Upgrading and updating adjacent documentation using specific project design templates in AutoCAD or GIS Data |
RequirementsRequirements• CAD Operator or Computer Science Degree • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure designs of electrical / electronical systems, preferably in defence, security or border protection sectors • IT skills - AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel, Visio • Experience in Middle East environment • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to efficiently solve practical problems or challenging situations |
