Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced CAD Engineer to their UAE team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection.
Reporting to the Outdoor Design Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Creation of overlay design to existing base maps based on outlined design principles
• Provide AutoCAD design for Civil, Electrical, Fibre optic circuits
• Specify automated templates
• Version control and release process
• Support the design manager to implement automated AutoCAD tools to increase design efficiencies
Requirements
Essential attributes include:
• Degree qualified CAD operator
• Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure designs of electrical / electronic systems
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, with AutoCAD experience preferred
• Previous experience in the Middle East is essential
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
• Excellent English verbal, reading and writing skills is essential
