Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Preparation of drawings mainly using CAD systems - PFDs, P&IDs, HVAC schematics, plant layouts, pipework & ductwork layouts, supports and equipment briefing calculations
- Preparation of design calculations
- Assist with preparation of datasheets, specifications, MTOs and schedules.
- Site surveys, inspection at suppliers and on-site design support during construction.
- Interdisciplinary co-ordination and clash checks (manually& 3D model)
- Implement WSP INDUSTRY quality procedures and client design standards
- Designer Risk Assessments (CDM Regulations)
- Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers
- Attend meetings with suppliers in office and at site
- Customers at all levels

Requirements

- 8-10 years of experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/Engineering

Specific industry experience required:
- Food/Pharmaceutical/chemical/oil & gas
- Experience in process plant design and draughting

CAD experience required:
- AutoCAD, 3D modelling using AutoCAD Plant 3D / Inventor, and Revit MEP
- Experience in pipework design, supporting and layout in accordance with national standards including ANSI 1331.3
