Job description / Role
My client is a large family owned business in Saudi Arabia. An opportunity has risen for a capable and experienced CEO within the heavy construction equipment to lead the newly formed business unit within a large group of companies.
Reporting to the Chairman, the CEO will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and day to day management of the Strategic Business Unit to ensure its effective operations and performance as per the strategy and objectives set by the Board.
You will also be accountable for the achievement of SBU targets including P&L and adherence to Group-wide policies and decisions relating to the SBU.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
MBA is a plus.
A minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant work experience, at least 5 of which must have been at senior management level in a similar industry.
Possess Leadership skills and People management skills
Decision making skills
Results orientation skills
Networking, relationship building and business development skills
Presentation, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Knowledge of strategic planning processes, execution and monitoring
Knowledge of financial planning and management processes
Knowledge of core operations of the SBU (industry knowledge)
Arabic speakers are preferred but this is not essential
