The RoleThe RoleRegional / Global Logistics Provider Attractive Salary Package Based in India Our client is a large and diversified Logistics organisation with offices throughout India and a well established presence in the multi-modal freight management, project logistics and supply chain services sectors. They are affiliated with a leading global logistics company and also have logistics businesses outside of the Sub-continent. The company has made very significant investments in assets and has expanding 3PL/4PL activities. Principal responsibility is to lead and proactively manage the companys Indian operation with an emphasis on rapidly growing the business and developing the client base, product offering & geographical network in-country. Responsibilities: Effectively manage all aspects of the business to ensure profitability & growth, fully responsible for the P&L in India Develop and aggressively grow the business through identification of trends and opportunities and then implement strategies to succeed along with new service offerings Manage key client relationships and negotiate innovative world class inbound/outbound logistics solutions Ensure that the physical infrastructure meets the demands of the business and supports growth; to include the set-up of new offices and warehouse acquisitions to improve service delivery and expand geographical coverage Challenge operational and commercial performance to improve at every level, implement KPIs to support this Lead and motivate key personnel, monitor and manage performance Manage the relationships with Associate and Group offices |
RequirementsRequirements 20 years experience in the Logistics industry, having reached senior management level in a multinational or major regional company you must have true multi-modal experience Prior experience in India is essential as is a strong established in-country network Experience in a multi-service and client focused organisation, preferably in India Have experience in driving growth and managing P&L across a large business Successful record in implementing smart logistics solutions in a variety of sectors Strong communication & relationship skills with clients and employees across diverse cultures; excellent negotiating and influencing ability Drive and resilience, particularly with regard to implementing strategy and managing development & change University Graduate - an MBA in Marketing or a Logistics qualification is an added advantage If this is the job for you then please APPLY NOW online. |
