Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An established Manufacturing organisation, which is part of a larger Group Holding Company, is seeking a strategic business leader that is capable of raising the bar and pushing the organisation to the next level through strategic growth, extensive market assessment, geographical expansion and relationship building with key industry professionals, as well as internally improving the management perception and corporate identity of the organisation.

The incumbent will be a seasoned management professional from the manufacturing industry with a proven track record for at least the last 10 years as a GM, or 3 years as a CEO. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate success in improving operational efficiency (specifically in manufacturing), defining and implementing a sales strategy and managing through change. Candidates should be fully versed in the latest developments in manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities:
1.Leadership
- Managing change to drive towards a performance driven organization
- Providing direction and focus for Top team members and building their capabilities
- Ensuring an efficient and effective utilization of company resources
- Invests significant time in developing, attracting and retaining leaders, to build a robust leadership pipeline.
- Exemplifies core values in all aspects of his work; role model even in face of difficult conditions/pressures.
- Building an effective executive team and developing & retaining A players
2.Strategy
- Leading the development of the strategy and growth plans.
- Establishing brand strategy and ensuring its implementation
- Being the driving force behind strategic market growth and geographic expansion
- Being responsible for Overall profit and loss.
- Consistent oversight of budget ensuring cost optimization
- Responsible for ensuring that senior managements objectives are in line with annual business plan
- Periodic review of annual plans and budget
3.Business
- Develop business Unit strategies and plans which will provide for sustained growth in market share and profitability
- Meets all strategic and operational targets and budgets. Builds budgets and targets back from desired market position.
4.Relationships
- Develop and utilize an internal peer network across the organization to share developments and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts and clients.
5.Legal
- Oversees the organization & managers operations in compliance with the law & regulations.

Requirements

- 15 years of professional working experience in a management roles
- 10 years as GM or 3 years as CEO of reputable companies
- Experience in the middle east or emerging markets is a necessity
- Manufacturing/Packaging background is essential
- Proven track record of working within a quality oriented production environment
- Strong business manager with exposure to introducing new processes and a demonstrable history of making positive change
- Proven history of delivering and supporting growth
- Proven history of building effective executive teams and developing & retaining A players
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
- Post graduate qualification would be a plus
- Excellent commercial and numerical acumen
- Exemplary communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven history of driving strategic plans
- Proven experience in Inspiring innovation & creativity
- Proven track record of recognizing achievements
- Experience of governing a fair business approach internally and externally
- Proven experience in commitment to service levels
- Proven leadership skills of delivering on promises
- Possessing good judgment and a risk evaluator
- Leading with tenacity
