Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible
for the management of financial (and relevant administration) of the Company. He interacts with the
Company upper management.
Role and responsibilities within the management process
1. Company Administration
a. He takes part in our client Management Meeting,
b. He takes part in the our client Management Reviews
c. He is a member of our client Executive Committee
d. He proposes an organization then manages the Companys finance team, and put in place the applicable processes
e. He deals with the external Appointed Auditors and our client Finance Department for enquiries and documents transmittal.
f. He ensures compliance with the procedures of the Quality Safety Environment System within the Finance Department.
2. Finance
a. In line with the Board requirements, he prepares on a yearly basis a Business Plan detailing the strategic and financial objectives of the Company.
b. He organizes the financial follow-up of the company for which he is responsible and prepares, in collaboration with the CEO and the operational department, the yearly budget and cash flow forecast and its updates.
c. He ensures the follow-up of the bank accounts and he proposes relevant policies to the Board and manages the cash of the Company.
d. He is responsible for the specific tax organization of the Company. He acts in close collaboration with the Accounts Department to determine and follow up this tax organization.
e. He ensures that the Companys accounts are in conformance with the local regulations in force,
f. He issues bonds as per the Board resolutions.
g. He manages tax disputes.
h. He organizes regular Finance Coordination Meeting.
3. Insurance / Legal
a. He ensures the publication of the annual financials of the Company after approval of
the Board and the Shareholders,
b. He puts in place the necessary insurances in liaison with our client Insurances Department.
Role and responsibilities within the execution process
4. Contracting process
a. He assists the CEO with:
i. Elaboration of draft agreement at negotiation level,
ii. Elaboration of budget at tender stage in order to submit official offer,
iii. Establishing the contracts.
b. With local administrations:
i. If applicable, he gets the submitted documents translated by a translation office, and ensures the ratification by Lawyer of all translated documents,
ii. He established a punch list of the tasks to be carried out.
5. Contract execution process
a. He is the appointed correspondent, within the Company, for all matters of financial nature. He relays, depending on the case, his requests for information, advice or help on decision making, to the relevant our client functional departments partners.
b. He requests the our client Financial Directions partners the bank counter-guarantees if necessary.
c. He puts in place a system for managing the various currencies for the Company.
d. He seeks the assistance of the Insurance Department for contracting Insurance policies, and for local coverage if applicable.
e. He organizes the accounting, administration and financial follow-up of the projects for which he is responsible and prepares, in collaboration with the CEO and the project teams, the budget, its updates and realignments.
f. He organizes the cost control of the Company.
g. He issues the statements of accounts and he validates with the CEO: quarterly financial statements and the reporting which he sends to the Board.
h. He organizes and follows up the annual (in March) external audits investigations in order to obtain the yearly audited financial statement.
i. He is the appointed correspondent of the Auditors mandated by the our client partners.
j. He participates in conducting the specific management and processes reviews.
k. He safeguards all the original copies and documents of financial related matters for each project.
l. With local administrations:
i. He ensures the tax follow-up of the contracts,
m. For the collecting follow-up:
i. He ensures the follow-up of clients,
ii. He is responsible of the petty cash of the Head-Office.
6. Post completion process
a. He is accountable for archiving of all financials documents required for satisfactory execution of this process. He performs searches for archived documents at the request of the CEO.
b. He follows up claims with lawyers with our client Legal Department.

Requirements

FRENCH Speaking CFO
Professional Qualification in Accounting/ Finance ( CPA/CFA/CMA/ACA) or Top Business School / Universities
Experience
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Accounting and Finance Function of which at least 3-4 years should be in a lead role for a multinational company
Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Should have strong analytical/ problem solving abilities
Should have strong interpretation and presentation capabilities.
Should have strong influencing skills
