Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a key role within a large organization, reports directly to the group CEO.

Responsibilities:

Develop and propose options for corporate and project financial strategy to the CEO
Manage and sustain direct relationships with appropriate counterparties in financial institutions and private funding sources
Develop a vision for current market opportunities for capital transactions that will position the firm with a competitive advantage
Articulate to the companies stakeholders the proposed strategy and execute the agreed upon transactions
Ensure that regular reports and analysis are presented to the Senior Management

Analysis & study of financial viability of Real Estate projects

Ensure that accurate & reliable business plans are prepared

Ensure that the annual business plan & budgets are regularly monitored & actual results are compared to budgets & plans and corrective actions/remedial measures are immediately adopted

Ensure that annual external audit & all internal audit & consultancy assignments are completed smoothly and as per requisite deadlines.

Ensure that staff perform to their best of capabilities, are motivated and encouraged to improve and endeavor to excel in their roles.

Assist employees in their development plans.

Requirements

Requirements:

Professionally qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant, CPA)
At least 15 years post-qualification experience with at least 5 years spent in a senior management (CFO/FD/VP) role for a Real Estate/Property Management company.
Should possess the experience of handling external relationships (e.g Banks, financial institutions, Auditors, consultants etc.
Should possess at least 5 years' experience of high level negotiations with senior most people; Banks, consultants, & other service providers.
Expert in accounting standards (IFRS)
Essential experience on Oracle Financial ( advantage in ORACLE 11G and /or R12)
