Employment: Full Time

Our client, based in Dubai is part of one of the biggest group of companies in UAE has an opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for an exciting new green development in the Oil and Gas sector.

This company is operating along with an excess of 20 affiliated companies and working within in 4 continents, operating in more than 25 nations, while this part of the company is new, there is lots of scope for career development both within the operation and with the affiliated companies.

The focus of this role is to do planning, organizing, directing and monitoring financial and support functions in line with new company strategy, manage the finances of commissioned assets and projects and drive the planned growth of the company. Being hands on you will be required to review the strategy and planning, operations and people management.

Responsibilities:
- For developing strategies, performance and overall operations of the departments in the Support Services.
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting process, financial analysis, report on trends, expansions and short and long term financing sources.
- Treasury management by controlling the flow of cash and liquidity, regulate accounting books with the relevant legislation and regulatory requirement
- Liaise with VP Strategy and CEO for Corporate Planning
- Lead the development and on-going maintenance of finance and accounting policies and processes

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
- Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.)
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Financial Management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a Managerial role.
- Proficiency in English, Arabic is preferred
