The Role


The Role


• Design and implement internal controls, accounting procedures and associated accounting systems as well as monitor them.
• Manage performance of the receivables portfolio, in order to identify and address doubtful and bad debt issues.
• Monitor ongoing liquidity position of the company and arrange additional funding or reduction of debt as appropriate.
• Manage all external financial relationships with banks and other debt providers.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors and facilitate their access to all relevant records and information.
• Plan, organize and control cash and borrowings to optimize interest and currency flows like affix or forex and minimize the cost of funds.
• Plan and execute communications programmers to enhance investors’ confidence in the firm.
• Maintain the treasury activities and ensure adequate controls are in place for all related activities.
• Analyses financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirement.

Requirements


Requirements


• University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, ideally CFA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
• MBA is a plus.
• At least 10 Experience in Finance, preferably with 3-4 years in a similar position.
• Experience in a Multinational company or bank is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, emphasis on finance and accounting.
• Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory environment, especially Capital Markets Authority and Stock Exchange requirements.
• Fluent in written/spoken English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
