The RoleThe Role Contribute to the development of policy and strategy Direct and coordinate activities consistent with achieving the business plan targets Oversee execution and delivery of programmes to achieve revenue growth, profitability and service quality standards Provide reports on performance against business plan and budgets, including appropriate variance analyses Provides effective leadership and establish an effective means of control and co-ordination for commercial and technical operations Monitoring progress in operations, reporting to CEO/Board as required Coordinate contributions to the annual business plan and operational budget for both commercial and technical operations Develop annual capital expenditure budgets, providing business cases for major capital expenditure as required Contribute to the promotion of ethical practices, integrity and a positive work climate, enabling the Company to attract, retain and motivate a diverse group of talented and committed employees Maintain a positive image for the Company and ensure that customer experience at all touch-points is superior and consistent with that expected of world-class operators Maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders Keep management and the Board of Directors fully informed on all aspects of operational performance, reporting against agreed KPIs |

Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the telecommunications business is essential and should include detailed knowledge of relevant technologies; operations; and sales and marketing. The candidate will have at least 10 years experience in the telecom sector. A natural leader and motivator, the candidate will have the ability to get the best out of a diverse group of people, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning well under pressure. |
