We are currently representing a steel manufacturing company looking for a COO (Executive Operations Director) to be based in Egypt. This is a fantastic opportunity, with an aggressively expanding company.

COO responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operation of the manufacturing systems
• Management of annual budgets and operating plans
• Develop manufacturing strategy for the business
• Develop the human resources of the business
• Driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability and business goals
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement growth plans
• Represent the firm with clients, investors and business partners

Requirements

COO requirements:
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar)
• 15 years + experience in operations management and plant development
• Experience in the steel industry and an in-depth understanding of steel manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, health and safety, maintenance and environmental knowledge, legislature
