Job description / Role
The F&B divisions Financial Controller is part of the senior management team, and will actively manage and participate in commercial and strategic decisions on a regional basis.
Primary responsibilities will include:
* Consolidate and report management figures, annual budget and business plan.
* Co-ordinate divisional monthly management reporting and forecasting.
* Carry out financial reviews of regional operating companies.
* Streamline accounting and internal financial procedures, including policies.
* Lead best practice in finance procedures within group.
* Evaluate new initiatives on a regional basis (new master franchise, acquisition, JV).
* Maintain and update process documentation and finance department.
* Lead and guide the finance team in Dubai HQ.
Package & benefits:
* Gross salary range is between AED 30k to AED 35k (possibly up to AED 40k if the candidate is really experienced).
* Medical coverage for employee, spouse plus up to 3 UAE resident children up to the age of 18.
* Annual airline tickets to home country (Economy) for employee, spouse plus up to 3 UAE resident children up to the age of 18 for an annual vacation of 22 working days per annum following the completion of one working year.
Requirements
Background and skills required include:
* Bachelor degree in Accounting, preferably with CPA or CA accreditation.
* At least 10 years working experience, preferably in restaurant and/or fast food industry.
* Proficiency in IFRS and solid knowledge of standard costing.
* Expert in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and feasibility studies.
* Experience leading process and system improvements.
* Experience leading a team in a multi-cultural environment.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Hands on, team player, ability to work under tight timeline.
