Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A top sporting event organizing committee in Qatar seeks an experienced Campaigns Specialist to assist the Head of Promotions & Campaigns in running & executing all campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of the Marketing strategy, in alignment with our overarching communications goals and the Strategic Plan
Manage the workflow and prioritizing deliverables to achieve consistency, efficiency and high quality standards in developing and providing deliverables to Communications and Marketing Department, all other departments and external audiences
Supervise all advertising functions including design, trafficking and production
Identify key external stakeholders and determine best ways to engage them through marketing and events
Assist in coordinating marketing efforts with all internal and external stakeholders
Identify marketing opportunities for the organisation
Create engaging and informative marketing materials
Manage external agencies contracted by organisation for marketing-related work
Deliver event branding and requirements, including design and production
Plan and manage SC Campaigns, including Above the line (tv, radio, online, outdoor, print, sms) and Below the Line Marketing (promotions, publications, branding, collaterals, Point-of-sale, exhibitions and displays, giveaways) and through the line (direct Marketing)
Responsible for Designs and Production functions for all Marketing materials.
Liaising with Brand Department for brand compliance of the developed artworks
Form close working relationships with all relevant stakeholders
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor directly related or relevant to the job

Requirements

Education and certifications

Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing or relevant discipline from an accredited institution
Preferably a postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or relevant discipline from an accredited institution
Certification in relevant field is preferred

Experience and skills

8 – 10 years in promotions and campaigns work experience
Relevant experience with a sports-oriented and/or prominent Qatari organisation is an advantage
Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Excellent writing skills in English
High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Track record of maintaining confidential and sensitive information
Problem-solving abilities
Flexibility and a related ability to work autonomously
A team player willing to work on tight timelines and pitch in when needed
Strong computer skills preferred (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, internet research, etc.)
A positive attitude, patience and persistence, especially when dealing with various internal and external stakeholders experience
