Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Your job will include, but not limited to the following:
- To contribute , effectively,with the Senior Career Development Specialist in developing and establishing the functions related to Career Development in accordance with the Company Nationalization policy including procedures, forms, documentation process and guidelines.
- Designs and implements Development Plans for UAE Nationals through the identification of core and job related competencies in accordance with specified targeted positions at different levels.Undertakes job and training gap analysis for each designated Target Position and assigned trainee.
- Develops Individual Development Plans (IDP) accordingly for all newly recruited UAE National Trainees. Discusses (IDP) and recommendations with relevant parties prior to approval and implementation.
- Provides training guidelines and advice, ensuring all designated staff members involved in the implementation of the IDPs are competent to deliver the required training and development. Follows up the implementation of the IDPs continuously, ensuring the effectiveness of the programme, and reports to supervisor accordingly.
- Implements the Quarterly Performance Reviews for all Trainees, in coordination with relevant Line Managers, ensuring any necessary action is taken according to the outcome of the review, informing SCDS and assigned Assessor on the progress. Prepares bi-annual Division Managers Report based on Trainee progress in their respective Divisions.
- Monitors the on job training to ensure that the required competencies are being developed in line with the IDP.
- Monitors the effectiveness of all off the job training to ensure that the requirements of the IDP are being met, discusses the training delivered with the Training Specialist concerned, and where necessary recommends the best options to meet the required training.
- Develops Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for all assigned, succession planned employees, and others as directed. Discusses recommendations with relevant managers and selected staff members prior to approval and implementation of PDP.
- Participates with the SCDS by providing professional opinion towards the overall Career Development strategy for the Company, in line with the corporate and Human Resources strategies. Undertakes benchmarking exercises for comparative purposes to ensure that Company strategy is inline with ADNOC Mains objectives.
- Designs and implements Induction courses, Orientation programmes and Attachment programmes to the relevant Divisions. Organises and administers each programme to ensure effectiveness.
- Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by direct Supervisor, including providing assistance in budget preparation for the Career Development function.

Requirements

- BA in Business Admin( Human Resources,/Management) or equivalent.
- Additional professional qualification in Training & Development or Human Resource Development is an advantage.
- 6 years in similar job, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills, with an awareness of different cultures.
- Computer user, with knowledge of Windows packages and able to use required applications.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Valid UAE driving license.
