The RoleThe RoleOn behalf of our client, a leading and reputed local holding company, we are looking for a Cargo Agent to be based in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities: • Manage clients & sales database, follow-up on identified sales leads and maintaining existing accounts. • Accept reservations up to final destinations using independent judgment considering all parameters like density mix. loadability, commercially important cargo and traffic trends in order to obtain optimum yield. • Quote rates and answer queries on flight, schedule, tariff and shipment status in order to provide service to customers. • Compile statistics relating to reservation trends, transfer connection, yield and seasonal variations to provide management relevant information. • Attend to customers and their complaints diligently and initiate tracer action and follow-up to maintain high service levels. • Accordance with the priorities given and applicable safety and operational policies and procedures in order to achieve optimum utilization of capacity. • Coordinate with the Ground Handling Agent and other assisting parties regarding flight loading and flight operational requirements. • Verify that the shipments are loaded as specified in the load plan. • Ensure bookings are made accurately in cargo computer systems and shipments flown as booked / planned. • Coordinate with warehouse and operation department for various in and outbound shipments. • Create and update import and departure records as well as inform customers with relevant post flight status of their shipments to provide service to customers and accurate information to network station |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum required skills and qualification: - Male; 25 - 35 yrs old; Indian national preferred - At least 2-3 years similar or related industry experience - Good communication and negotiation skills - Hardworking and can work efficiently under pressure - Can work with minimum supervision - Good team player |
