Our healthcare client is looking for a Case Supervisor due to expansion within the business. You will report to the Case Manager/Head Nurse. You will allocate duties and evaluate the performance of the nurses, assist in training newly hired nurses as well as identifying and addressing any ongoing training requirements of the team. In collaboration with the Case Manager, you will also work with clients/patients to ensure that all nursing needs are met and care is carried out with skill and compassion. The work schedule is 5 days per week, Sundays to Thursdays from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting in-depth assessments of patients, identifying and addressing all relevant needs
Develop comprehensive and bespoke care plans for clients with regards to nursing needs
Assist in the management and maintenance of the clinical documentation of clients
Schedule shifts for the nurses and assign appropriate skill matched duties to them
Review reports from the nurses regarding their duties and maintains a record of them
Assist in the delivery of training programs for nurses
Assist in solving any issues related to nurses, patients and care needs

Requirements

Skills Required:

Have excellent communication skills (preferably a native English speaker)
Ability to understand problems and develop appropriate plans to resolve them
In-depth knowledge of evidence based, best practice nursing policies and procedures
Sound knowledge of patient assessment and case management skills
Good presentation skills to develop and conduct training programs
Enthusiastic, can handle pressure, and committed to work
Ability to prioritize tasks and good leadership qualities
Able to work independently
Excellent written skills and should have proficiency in handling computer programs used in hospital management and documentation

Educational Qualifications Required:

Western educated and registered nurse
Minimum of 4 years overall professional experience
At least 1 year experience in a critical care or assessment area (PACU, A+E, CCU, ITU etc.)
Experience in a wide range of clinical settings
DHA licensed nurse / DHA eligibility (we can assist with the process for the right candidate)
