Job description / Role
- Opens restaurant micros in proper time.
- Starts all the credit card machines with zero balance.
- Controls the hard checks by serial Numbers.
- Once guest come, opens the check same time and after payment closed it immediately.
- Makes drop of cash at closing.
- Takes void report from micros make summary take signature from the manager and chef with proper reason.
- Checks all kinds of vouchers before posting.
- All city ledgers should be available with proper back-ups.
- Any discrepancy in micros report immediately reported to Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Always uses own micros card and keep in confidential and safe.
- Takes care of Micros, Credit card machine, and printer if anything is out of order report immediately.
- Hands over Tips to staff after the shift with proper reconciliation and takes receiving signature on tips form.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or similar certificate in Accounting or related field.
Experience:
- At least 1 year in similar position experience.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- Certification of previous training in food service.
- Ability to communicate in a foreign language, preferably Arabic.
- Experience with computers.
- Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
