Category Analyst - Food Retail - Kuwait

The Role:
You will support the Category Manager in choosing ranges, forecasting and placing orders and work closely with store teams to drive sales and reduce wastage. The role involves working with both local and international suppliers so excellent communication and relationship building skills are a must.

You will be exposed to many different aspects of retail including marketing, supply chain, product sourcing, international food show visits and visual merchandising.

Requirements

* Flexible and adaptable
* Educated to degree level in a relevant field (such as retail management, business management, marketing or food technology) or have relevant hands-on experience in retail such as management training programs or graduate training schemes (ideally within food)
* A genuine passion for food
* Career orientated
* A self-motivated, self-starter
* Experience of taking on project work
* Excellent communication skills.
