Job description / Role

- Create and manage break through purchasing categories.
- Have good knowledge of market dynamics, cost drivers, potential and knowledge of internal business needs, proactively identify threats and opportunities to increase and protect value, Optimize business performance and minimize risk exposure.
- Develop suite of high quality supply agreements and capable of delivering category strategies.
- Proactively build strategic relationships with key approved suppliers.
- Manage cost reduction
- Manage key supplier performance and delivery of continuous improvement.
- Ensure competent contract frameworks to support strategic supplier relationships.

Requirements

- Candidates should preferably have industrial experience within large / international companies. (Petrochemical,Oil & Gas,mining Industry)
- Bachelor in Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of strategic sourcing experience within large/international companies. (Petrochemical,Oil & Gas,mining Industry)

About the Company

Ma'aden was formed as a Saudi joint stock company on 23 March 1997 (corresponding to 14/11/1417H) for the purpose of facilitating the development of Saudi Arabia's mineral resources.

To date Ma'aden's activities have focused on its active gold business which has grown in recent years to include the operation of five gold mines: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar.

Ma'aden is now expanding its activities beyond its gold business with the development of its Phosphate Project, Aluminium Project, and Other Projects.
