The RoleThe RoleThe Local Sales Unit Category Marketing and Activation Manager is responsible for categories, marketing GTM, marketing activation and digital marketing at the Sales Unit. He/She is the key interface to the Cluster Category marketing and Activation marketing teams. Cluster marketing represents all categories (Connect, Entry, Live, Explore, Achieve, X Category, Services & Experiences). The Local Sales Unit Category Marketing and Activation Manager reports solid line to the LSU Marketing Head and dotted line/virtual team to the Sales Unit /Global respective teams. The responsibilities can be grouped under two topics: 1. Category Marketing Ensuring category strategy is planned and deployed in a locally relevant way by working with Cluster marketing team Marketing GTM coordination and alignment in Local Sales Unit Launch and lifecycle management of the categories 2. Marketing Activation Relevant localization of campaign content in line with guidelines Making sure priorities are cascaded, reflected and deployed through local plans Touch-point Strategy & Development (paid and non paid media, touch points) Digital Marketing and LRM Network and Media agency management Relationship with other functions Work closely with Local Sales Unit Marketing teams to ensure the full sales and marketing alignment. Work closely with Cluster Marketing; Category marketing and Marketing Activation teams. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe role demands a candidate with strong experience in digital marketing. The ideal candidate has a university degree in business/marketing with 5-7 years of marketing experience in multiple marketing functions and preferably has worked in Country organization. Achieving Work Goals and Objectives Accepts and tackles demanding goals with enthusiasm. Works hard and puts in extra effort when it is necessary. Relating and Networking Establishes strong relationships & collaborates effectively with colleagues, partners and customers. Builds wide and useful networks of contacts inside and outside the organization. Manages conflict and relates well to people at all levels, purposely seeking contacts and maintaining a dialogue with key parties. Understanding Consumers Possessing a thorough knowledge and understanding of the nature and significance of consumers lifestyles, attitudes, behaviors, desires and preferences in relation to purchasing, owning and using mobile phones, consumer services, and technology. |
