Job description / Role
The Category & Marketing Director will be P&L responsible for a fashion category across the emerging markets. Key responsibilities include defining and developing the marketing strategy, the 3-5 year business plan, range selection and driving the category teams across the region.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Define the short-term and long-term strategy for the designated product line as well as preparing an annual marketing plan.
- Work closely with the global strategic planning team to develop the category business plan across emerging markets.
- Responsible for the Product Categorys P&L.
- Lead the category within the Emerging Markets in respect to financial targets, sell-in and sell-out figures, marketing campaigns , go-to-market strategies, range selection in each market.
- Direct Brand activation through Category leads in each market within Emerging Markets.
- Lead a team of marketing and category managers directly and a team of Brand Manager in each country.
Requirements
- Advanced marketing knowledge and experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories.
- P&L responsibility experience.
- Experience in driving a category in terms of financial targets, assortment plans and Go - to - Market strategies.
- Experience in managing a team - directly and indirectly.
- Bachelor Degree Holder.
- Open to travel regularly within the Emerging Markets.
