Job description / Role
- Develop purchasing strategies, manage the centralized procurement and tendering process, negotiate contracts for procurement of material, equipment and services and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions for all QPM projects.
- Develop methodologies, processes and systems for procurement and contracts to enable QPM to deliver projects within time and budget and support its vision to be a world class PMC
- Sourcing and Procurement of right goods and services at the right time across projects minimizing procurement costs and wastage.
- Centralized Tendering and Contracts management of key procurement needs of projects across geographic regions.
- Supplier and vendor relations for effective procurement of required goods and services
- Risk free procurement and contracts practices for long term sustainability of operations
Requirements
- Graduate in Engineering or MBA in Supply Chain Management or equivalent with 8-10 years in construction, infrastructure or real estate sector, with at least 2-3 years in the related department head role in a medium to large Project Management company.
- Knowledge of Procurement, tendering and contracting practices in the GCC along with all associated IT tools and technologies including ERPs and e-procurement software.
