Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Managing the food and beverage provision for functions and events
Marketing and selling conference and banqueting facilities
Achievement of budgeted food sales, maximum profitability and over-all successful quality of service.
Development and maintenance of all department control procedures.
Following of proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures.
Supervises the handling, storage, and security of all catering service equipment, including catering vehicles and all china, glassware, silverware, linen, etc.
Hiring, training, supervising and motivating permanent and casual staff.
Ensures staff training programs are implemented and measured regularly.
Planning menus in consultation with chefs
Budgeting and establishing financial targets and forecasts
Negotiating contracts with customers, assessing their requirements and ensuring they are satisfied with the service delivered (in contract catering);
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded and archived.

Requirements

Report to General Manager.
Below 40 Years Old.
5+ years experience in the same field.
Uses fluently English and Arabic Languages.
Arabic nationality preferable and Saudi nationality on the top of the choices.
This function is for either male or female candidates.
Preferably with experience in Saudi market in particular and GCC market in general.
If candidate is expat then should have transferable residence in Saudi Arabia.
Workplace to be in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
Salary package will be desired according to candidate qualifications and market range of salaries.
Bachelor degree is must, Master in Marketing or BA is preferred.
