Job description / Role
Triage is looking for a Catering Manager for one of our client based in Dubai, who will be responsible for Planning, organizing and developing the food and beverage catering services, while meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets.
Relationships:
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizing catering staff schedules.
- Planning menus in consultation with chefs.
-Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Managing the food and beverage provision for functions and events.
- Managing the payroll and monitoring spending levels.
- Maintaining stock levels and ordering new supplies as required.
- Interacting with customers if involved with front of house work.
- Liaising with suppliers and clients.
- Negotiating contracts with customers, assessing their requirements and ensuring they are satisfied with the service delivered (in contract catering)
- Maximizing sales and meeting profit and financial expectations.
- Setting and monitoring budgets and maintaining financial and administrative records.
- Planning new promotions and initiatives, and contributing to business development.
- Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the industry, such as menus, trends in consumer tastes and management issues.
