JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Center Director, you will utilize your talents to manage the day-to-day operations of the Learning Center, including responsibility over P&L, hiring, training and retaining staff, marketing, overseeing the sale process, quality and delivery of instruction, customer service and quality, compliance with regulations and franchise obligations.

As a successful Center Director, you will:

1. Grow the Center

• Direct the sales process of new and potential enrollments, including successfully handling initial inquiries from parents as well as consultations and conferences with parents.
• Engage in marketing activities to increase awareness of the Learning Center in the territory.
• Monitor and track Center performance, revenues, expenses, and fee collection.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations.
• Keep Mom & Dad informed on program progress.
• Regularly seek parent and student feedback to improve operations and monitor instructors.

2. Manage & Train

• Select, hire and train Center employees (including all teaching staff) in of the Learning Center methods and systems
• Effectively lead, motivate and continually develop Center staff.
• Demonstrate and uphold a high level of staff morale and spirit
• Manage instructor staffing levels (full and part-time) and schedules. Develop capability and knowledge to recruit instructors locally and build and manage system for part-time recruitment
• Ensure professional appearance of your Center
• Ensure compliance with franchise obligations (e.g. reporting) and maintain an operating relationship with franchisor (of the Learning Center in Dubai)
• Ensure all systems and applications are running smoothly

3. Ensure Educational Integrity

• Ensure assessments are administered appropriately; analyze and interpret results; communicate with parents within defined time limits to gain enrollment
• Discuss and agree with instructors goal-based programs for students as well as monitor performance.
• Create positive learning environment by modeling motivational behavior in the center for staff, students and parents, during all phases of the instructional program.
• Ensure all systems and procedures comply with any applicable laws and procedures

Requirements

WE REQUIRE:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in the education field, at least 2 of which should be in management/leadership positions.
• Prior experience as Math and/or English teacher at elementary/primary and/or Middle level i.e. between grades 2 and 7.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and persuasive skills, and the ability to build relationships.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, analyze/interpret business reports and statistics, and write reports and business correspondence.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including [some] evening hours and [some] weekends.
• Preferred candidate would be a woman who is native fluent in English language.
