Job description / Role
* Coordinates, plans and conducts programs to educate employees about industrial Hygiene cleanliness, safety in the workplace.
* Provides advice on methods and procedures to reduce occupational health risks.
* Performs a variety of tasks. including Noise Monitoring; which involves measurement of the existing ambient noise levels in the refinery.
* Provide guidance to facility Management in establishing a new IH program including training to facility employee.
* To quantify the exposure of total and repairable dusts (sulfur) and crystalline silica (RCS) where applicable.
* Typically reports to a supervisor
* The work will be in an oil and gas refinery for a minimum period of 3 years extend to 5 years
Requirements
* Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from the American Board with at least university degree of BSc in chemistry or related safety
* Experience in oil and gas facility
* Minimum years of experience: 10 years
* Languages: Good knowledge of English (Reading, Writing, Talking)
