My client is a privately owned company that has been present in the Gulf for more than 65 years. A major retail and distribution company, they have grown through their vision to provide high quality services and products to the general public of Qatar.

They are now looking for a Change Manager to be based in the Project Management Office of their HQ in Doha.

The role of Change Manager offers the opportunity to drive change within the business in a dynamic project team environment. The Change Manager is responsible for managing the transition to the newly implemented ERP system in the organization by ensuring the project is delivered without major disturbance to daily operations through the proper management of organizational impacts and human risks.

The Change Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the new processes and tools are quickly integrated into peoples day-to-day activities after implementation in order to prevent any significant drop in productivity that often follows a large system implementation. The Change Manager will also be responsible for maximizing employees commitment to change success and minimizing resistance by adequately supporting the organizations leads and management staff, preparing them to deal with the human side of change.

Key responsibilities of the Change Manager will include:
- Supporting organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities by clarifying strategies/plans and giving clear sense of direction and purpose to all levels to generate commitment to goals
- Taking responsibility for the research and development of the change programs ensuring best fit for the organization
- Analysing the performance of the vendors and third party service providers on an on-going basis
- Consulting and coaching project teams and business unit managers and supervisors
- Coordinating efforts with other specialists by being visible to staff and stakeholders and regularly undertaking activities to engage and build trust with people involved in certain areas of work
- Completing change management assessments including the change impact on business areas (culture, structure service and morale)
- Creating and developing various ways of communication pertaining the change induction through different channels
- Creating actionable deliverables for the five change management levels: communication plan; sponsor road map; coaching plan; training plan; resistance management plan
- Applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities which includes the promotion of business vision and maintaining the benefits framework that links the project delivery to the achievement of business benefits
- Identifying, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics

Requirements

- A minimum of 8 years of experience
- At least 6 years of experience with Change Management for full cycle Oracle based ERP implementations
- Prior experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process, methodologies and tools
- Good working knowledge of industry standard project management methodologies, Oracle ERP system structure, functionality and implementation approaches, together with a broad understanding of change management practices
- Very strong communication skills, influence and client relationship management
- Fluent Arabic and English
