Job description / Role
The prospective candidate will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Launching a new YouTube channel (channel settings, design, video posting with implementing relevant meta-data (thumbnails, title, description, tags, etc)
- Sourcing relevant video content on the web, dealing with video rights before posting on the channel
- Building a multi channel network by curating other channels to join as partners and help them develop an audience
- Building and managing the community of the channel network, seeding and promoting video content through social media and cross promoting with other channels
- Build up views and subscribers, including content promotion, social media seeding, paid traffic acquisition campaigns and other digital marketing techniques
- Managing reports and data analytics for audience growth and video view performance
Requirements
All successful candidates must come from a digital marketing background, with social media expertise, and should previously have had experience on digital channel development.
All candidates are also require to possess the following skills and qualifications to be successfully short-listed for this role:
- Preferable a post graduate, with degree qualification in relevant degree discipline
- Must have experience in digital marketing between 3-5 years
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French and preferably Arabic.
- Good knowledge of photography and video
- Social media expertise
- Basic video editing capabilities such as Final Cut or Adobe Premier
- Photoshop capabilities
