The Role


The Role


This individual is accountable for channels systems support and development. Responsibilities on these systems include support, maintenance, research and development to ensure continual innovation.

• Support the initial implementation of new systems.
• Provide ongoing systems support in own area of specialism as appropriate to support business operations
• Define detailed technical/systems/service solutions to meet user requirements as defined in Systems Specifications or business requirement specification
• Monitor the systems tests to ensure that solutions work correctly and meet the specification
• Contribute to the implementation of new/changed systems to meet user requirements, time constraints and service standards
• Document changes to systems and produce technical documentation for new solutions.
• Develop the technical solutions to meet specified business requirements according to the provided technical analysis.
• Provide the detailed system technical documentation to high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Automate the business requirements related to his area of specialism
• Benchmarking System performance and recommend improvement areas

Requirements


Requirements


• 5-6 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
• Be well versed with latest trends in technology related to his area
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, system development tools and the technology development lifecycles
• Follow up skills
• Presentation, negotiation & communication skills

Domain Experience

• Call centre
• IVR
• SMS
• Internet banking

Technical Skills

• SOA architecture and design
• J2EE, Java, Java scripting, AJAX, CSS, Java server faces, C++, VB.Net, HTML, XHTML,XML experience
• Professional Certification is preferable.
