Charging System Expert

Job description / Role

Job Purpose:
The Charging system expert will support the solution design, planning for charging nodes considering the full CBS architecture.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and design for new service and promotions on charging nodes and USSD GW
- Close the scope with commercial and PMO for new services.
- Write Technical solution design document.
- Estimate the time line for any configuration needed
- Cooperate with CBS team (mediation and Billing) to have end to end design and testing for any service.
- Sharing the required information with RA and BI for any promotion for quality check and reporting.
- Do configuration and testing on test-bed
- Issue change request to operation team to apply the new services on live nodes
- Make case study and issue change request for operation team to update or modify existing configurations to simplify the configuration or for future proof.
- Capacity design for charging system nodes and subscribers license
- Participate on budgeting
- Issue purchase request and RFQ/RFP
- Evaluate vendor proposals and comment on their solutions
- Submit weekly report to the unit head with progress of all projects running under his scope.
- Coordinate with other departments inside the Technology for solution design.
- Give guide and on job training for local staff
- Handover session for any project launched under his scope.

Reporting Line:
Report to changing and billing Unit Manager.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Telecom Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BS Comp. Eng.) or any equivalent field.
- 5+ years experience in E// charging system as planning (CCN, SDP, AIR and VS).
- Worked on MBC for data charging
- Worked on CBIO environment (Ericson CBS) is preferable
- Have experience with other operator is preferable
- Have ability to work as SI/SA on Ericsson charging system
- Have knowledge about USSD-GW and EMM configuration.
- Have knowledge about Sigtran,SCAP-V2,Gy and standard Diameter
- Have good knowledge about UCIP and ACIP.
- Project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
