Job description / Role
Our client is one of the UK leading engineering design consultancies who have a reputation of working on some of the worlds most technically challenging construction projects.
They are currently looking to recruit a chartered mechanical engineer to work on a new building project in Kuwait. The role will be site based focusing on ensuring that the interpretation of the mechanical engineering design information is in accordance with both the contract and the design and also for acting as a guardian of the design intent on the project.
The role will involve:
- Responsible for all day to day mechanical engineering;
- Responsible for the mechanical engineering resources and day to day task allocation;
- Manage the workload of mechanical engineers and inspectors;
- Communicate directly with the client;
- set up and manage the mechanical engineering project administrative system.
Requirements
Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years experience in HVAC design and site supervision gained on major building projects. Candidates must be chartered engineers with a recognised professional institute and must have middle est experience working on high rise buildings. Candidates should be from a consultancy background.
