Qatar is currently one of the busiest countries in the Middle East at the moment, mainly due to the impending World Cup. This has created a major demand for new infrastructure projects and the consultancy I am recruiting for is at the forefront of some of the biggest projects.

Founded over 60 years ago, this engineering and construction firm with revenues of $2.9 billion in 2009, is 100% owned by the Employee Stock Ownership Trust. They conquer the toughest logistical challenges and deliver landmark design-build projects to private industrial customers worldwide as well as federal, regional, and local government agencies.
As they are winning more and more work in Qatar this has created a number of opportunities. The most urgent vacancy they have at the moment is for a Chartered Resident Engineer with experience in the M&E side of major road projects.
Requirements
You will need to be chartered, have a 4-year degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 10 - 15+ years of experience in field construction is required. Experience in the construction of large Roads and Highways project in domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred. You must be chartered and have a stable career history.
