Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a 5 Star property in Abu Dhabi who are opening a new bar this month. Our client is urgently looking to hire a Chef who is available immediately to manage this new and exciting 120 cover property.
This is a prominent role in the bar. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the kitchen creating a contented working atmosphere for the successful functioning of the business. You will also motivate the front of house team in busy and stressful situations. In addition you will consistently produce top quality dishes in a high pressured environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have exceptional cooking skills along with an understanding of produce and ingredients. You should be able to hit the ground running at every shift and enjoy the fast pace of the kitchen. It is essential you are a natural leader with the ability to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. You should also be an expert at delegating duties as well as have excellent kitchen management and organisational skills. Although the menu is already in place for the opening of the bar, it is vital you have an unstoppable talent for creating new dishes and menus.
