Salary: up to 13,000 for an outstanding candidate plus bonus

Our Client is a well-known company with 25 years experience across the Rubber Industry, Lubricants and Adhesives Industries, Foam Industries and more. they are proud to hold solid reputation within the market for being a strong competitor as well as an employer of choice.

Due to our expanding portfolio of clients and our rapid sales team growth, we are now seeking an experienced Chemical Sales Engineer with as part of a team to focus on Selling in to the industries like Foam, Paint and Coatings and Cosmetics and concentrate on chemicals such as epoxy resins, polyols, TDI and MDI, glycerene and solvents and much more.

Not being limited to the Nigeria Market you will sell these items across the world and part of the role will also include travelling to different regions to meet with clients and attend trade shows and conferences.

As an experienced sales person you will have excellent technical skills and use consultative selling methods and also be capable of dealing with all types of clients at all levels, and be comfortable in high level negotiations in a competitive environment.

Working with an existing client base you will be expected to grow the portfolio of clients, building solid relationships and make regular visits and calls to them.

As well as technical knowledge you will have a high attention to detail being able to easily close deals and work with the logistics team to ensure delivery of product to clients.

Your organisation skills and planning skills are essential as you plan both the strategic approach to the market will be essential to the success of your department.

Requirements

Requirements

- Chemical Engineering Degree Preferred.
- Background in chemical sales within the Oil or Lubricant Industry, Paint & Coatings, Foams, Cosmetics Preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Team player.
- A Valid drivers License.
- Ability to travel.
