Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

Our client, a world leading services group, is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their team in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate would be a young and energetic qualified professional.
Responsibilities of the Chief Accountant include but are not limited to:

• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting
etc
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow
management reporting for submission to HQ in France.
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project
teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and attributes:

CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
Relevant University level degree.
Young and professional.
Min 2 - 3 years work experience.
Based in the UAE.
