We are looking for an ambitious Chief Accountant to join Lafarge, Dubai Branch. Lafarge a leader in building the materials industry with operations throughout the Middle East.

Your key responsibilities will be ownership of the trial balance, chart of accounts and financial reporting (local in JDE and HFM):
A full JD will be furnished on request .
The principal accountabilities.
Ownership of trial balance, GL and sub-ledgers
- One Point contact for company chart of accounts and its usage
- Timely reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) of local and Group Accounts (HFM)
- Full compliance/documentation of internal control standards.
- Reconciliations of all accounting estimates and provisions
- Successful completion of year end audit with external auditors
- Approval of all accounts
- Approval of bank reconciliation statement
- Approval of all manual JEs
Internal: All staff including FM & GM
External All suppliers representative
Group: Cluster Finance and Internal Control, Group Consolidation, Performance and Controllers
Requirements
- University Qualifications: CA
- Other certifications obtained: ACCA, CPA
- Nature and length of previous experience: 5 Years with minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: assertive, able to manage tight deadlines, work under pressure ,maintain accurate reports .
- Specialist knowledge: audited experience with BIG4
- Age Range: 25-30
- Gender Preference: any
- Nationality Preference: Indians, Pakistanis
- Language Fluency: English, Hindi
- Current Location: Dubai
