Job description / Role
One of the leading energy and power service providers across the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia is currently looking for a Chief Accountant that will be based in Qatar.
Our client is well-known in providing energy and power turnkey solutions in various industries such as oil and gas, shipping, utilities and commercial sectors. They provide temporary and medium term power needs to their customers, offering additional services such as installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, power distribution, fuel management, transportation and logistics.
Requirements
As the Chief Accountant, you will be overseeing all accounting functions such as AP, AR, GL and reporting. The role is directly reporting to the General Manager in Qatar and Finance Director based in Dubai.
- Minimum of 3 years and above of experience in general accounting and reporting
- Exposure in heavy industries environment such as industrial, commercial, mining, oil and gas sector is an advantage
- Should have Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong communication skills
- Transferable visa in Qatar is a must.
